SS921 316 Stainless Steel Twisted Shackle
The SS921 is a twisted shackle in AISI 316 stainless steel, in six sizes from 4 mm to 12 mm. The 90-degree twist lets it join two parts that sit at right angles, such as a halyard and a sail head or a block and a fitting.

Product details
SS921 is a twisted shackle in AISI 316 stainless steel. Twisting the shackle through 90 degrees turns the plane of the pin relative to the closed end, so a halyard, block or fitting can be attached at right angles without putting a twist into the line. Six sizes are listed by D: 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm, with A from 8 to 24 mm and overall length L from 23 to 68 mm.
Typical applications are sail and halyard connections, block attachments, awning and shade-sail corners, and other marine rigging where parts need to align. Grade 316 stainless steel is the usual choice for continuous exposure to sea water. SS921 is supplied without a published breaking or working load, so it should be selected as general rigging hardware and not used for overhead lifting or personal fall protection.
