SS911 316 Stainless Steel Anchor (Bow) Shackle
The SS911 is an anchor shackle, also called a bow shackle, made from AISI 316 stainless steel in six sizes from 4 mm (5/32 in.) to 12 mm (15/32 in.). Its rounded bow leaves room for several attachments, and listed breaking loads run from 750 kg to 7200 kg.

Product details
SS911 has the rounded bow that gives anchor shackles their name, made in AISI 316 stainless steel. Six sizes are listed by D: 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm (5/32 to 15/32 in.). The drawing gives B (8 to 24 mm), R (14 to 42 mm), d (8 to 24 mm) and overall length L (16 to 48 mm).
Listed breaking loads are 750, 1300, 1800, 3500, 5400 and 7200 kg from the smallest size to the largest. Compared with a D shackle, the wider bow leaves room for two or more lines, slings or eyes and copes better with a load that is not exactly in line with the pin, although side loading still reduces capacity. That makes the bow shape a common choice for anchor rodes, mooring chains, sail tacks and shade-sail corners. The breaking loads are not working load limits; a safety factor appropriate to the use must be applied.
