TP-972 Aluminium Tandem Pulley, 25 kN

The TP-972 has an aluminium alloy case and, as the images show, two sheaves set in line in a compact tandem body. Sheaves can be supplied in aluminium or stainless steel; stainless sheaves resist wear where the pulley runs repeatedly along a line or on steel cable. The breaking strength is 25 kN and the rope size 13 mm. A dimension drawing forms the second image.

Tandem pulleys stay stable while travelling along a tensioned line, so TP-972 suits tyrolean crossings, highline rescue, guiding lines that move a load across a gap and zip-line trolleys in adventure parks. Compared with TP-973, which offers 22 or 25 kN options, TP-972 is listed at a single 25 kN rating.

Buyers should state the sheave material, line type and diameter, colour and marking, and the compliance route for their market, for example EN 12278 for mountaineering pulleys or EN 15567 for ropes courses.
