SS-785 Stainless Steel 304 Ladder Anchor Point with U-Pins

The SS-785 gives a horizontal lifeline an anchorage on a ladder, held by U-pins rather than drilled fixings. It is made of stainless steel 304, measures 228 mm in length and 90 mm in height, and sits on a base 248 mm long and 50 mm wide. The weight is 623 g. The same part is also offered in the ladder vertical lifeline range as SS785, and it belongs to the via ferrata component range.

Where a horizontal line meets a ladder, for example at the transition from a climb to a traverse on a via ferrata, or where a roof-edge lifeline ends at an access ladder, an anchor of this kind keeps the system continuous. It can serve as an end or intermediate point depending on the design.

Because the load passes into the ladder, the ladder rungs, stiles and their fixings must be able to resist the anchor forces calculated for the system. Buyers should confirm the rung or stile size for the U-pins and have the layout approved by a competent person. The SS-785 can be produced as OEM or private label.
