SA-01 Shock Absorber for Horizontal Lifelines

In a horizontal lifeline, a shock absorber is placed in line, usually near an end anchor, so that the energy of a fall is partly taken up by the absorber rather than passed straight into the anchors and the structure. This lets lifelines be installed on roofs, facades and rock where anchor loads must be kept down.

Key data to request are the activation force, stroke, cable diameter, material and any indicator showing that the absorber has been deployed. The absorber should be used only as part of a system designed by a competent person. The SA-01 can be supplied as OEM or private label.
