SS5013 316 Stainless Steel Trigger Snap

Made in AISI 316 stainless steel, the SS5013 trigger snap is a compact snap hook operated by a sprung trigger rather than a pivoting gate, which makes it easy to attach and release with one hand. Two sizes are listed: D 14 mm (1/2 in.) with an overall length L of 65 mm, and D 16 mm (5/8 in.) with an L of 68 mm. The product photograph shows a swivel eye at the attachment end.

Grade 316 stainless steel is the usual choice where hardware sees salt spray, rain or regular washing down, and trigger snaps of this kind are typical on flag halyards, pet leads, bag straps, boat covers and light marine lines. With no published load rating, it should be treated as a general-purpose clip, not as lifting or fall-protection hardware.

When asking for a quote, confirm the D size, quantity and finish. The snap can be supplied under a customer's own brand, and the eye or body can be modified to a drawing.
