SS2430 316 Stainless Steel Lost-Wax Cast Spring Hook

Investment casting, also called the lost-wax process, produces the SS2430 spring hook as a near-net-shape part in AISI 316 stainless steel. Casting allows rounded, three-dimensional sections and fine detail that are difficult to achieve by stamping. The four listed sizes are d 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm, with overall length L of 60 to 120 mm, width B of 34 to 68 mm, S of 12 to 26 mm and D of 9 to 18 mm.

The dimensions match the stamped SS2431, so the choice between the two comes down to section shape, finish and production volume. Typical uses include attaching lines to deck hardware, securing covers and hanging equipment exposed to salt air. Without a published load rating, this hook is not intended for lifting or personal fall protection.

Power Honour carries out investment casting, machining and surface finishing in-house and can supply the SS2430 under a private label or modified to a customer drawing.
