Product details
The SS2470 spring snap is a spring-gated clip produced in AISI 316 stainless steel. Three sizes are listed: L 50 mm with W 25, E 10 and D 8 mm; L 70 mm with W 31, E 11 and D 12 mm; and L 100 mm with W 50, E 15 and D 16 mm.
These snaps are widely used to fasten boat covers and canopies, attach lines to rails and eyes, and hang tools or accessories outdoors. The 316 grade resists chloride attack better than 304, which matters for hardware that lives near the sea or is exposed to road salt. An open-end variant is available as SS2471. No working or breaking load is listed, so the snap is intended for general fastening rather than lifting or personal protection.
