SS2471 316 Stainless Steel Open-End Spring Snap
The SS2471 is the open-end version of the stainless spring snap, made from AISI 316 stainless steel in four lengths: 50, 55, 65 and 90 mm. It is a snap clip for attaching lines, covers and accessories in marine and outdoor use.

Product details
SS2471 is an open-end spring snap in AISI 316 stainless steel, sized by overall length L: 50, 55, 65 and 90 mm. The drawing gives two further dimensions per size, A (7.5, 9.0, 11.0 and 17.0 mm) and B (6.5, 8.0, 10.0 and 13.0 mm), which buyers should compare with the rope, ring or fitting the snap must accept.
As its name indicates, it is the open-end counterpart of the SS2470 spring snap; the end form is shown on the product drawing and should be checked against the intended attachment method. Spring snaps of this type are used on boat covers, flag lines, bags, awnings and outdoor accessories, and grade 316 gives them good resistance to salt air. They are not rated for lifting or fall protection, and no load figures are published for them.
