735 Rock Climbing Chain Anchor in Steel or Stainless Steel

735 is supplied as an anchor assembly: a seven-link chain, rings and bolts, which together give a flexible attachment from the rock to the climber's connection point. It is available in steel or stainless steel, with a breaking strength of 30 kN in steel and 26 kN in stainless steel, and for 10 mm or 12 mm bolt holes. The photograph shows the chain hanging from a hanger with a ring or hook at the lower end.

Chain anchors are used at the top of sport routes, on multi-pitch belay stations and on climbing walls and training structures. The chain lets the station hang in line with the load and allows two anchors to be linked. Steel versions suit indoor or dry use, while stainless steel is the usual choice for permanent outdoor installations.
