715 Climbing Hanger in Stainless Steel or Steel

The 715 hanger is a compact bent-plate design with a clipping eye and a bolt hole. It is offered in stainless steel or steel for 10 mm or 12 mm bolts, with a listed breaking strength of 30 kN in stainless steel and 26 kN in steel. The photograph shows a zinc-plated steel version stamped with its rating; the second image is a dimension drawing.

715 is the plain counterpart of 715H, which adds six anti-rotation protuberances around the bolt hole. Plain hangers remain common on indoor walls and on routes where the hanger is tightened against a flat surface. Typical uses include sport routes, multi-pitch belays, gym lead walls and training structures. Zinc-plated steel suits dry indoor use; stainless steel is the normal choice for outdoor rock.

Buyers should specify material, bolt diameter, finish and marking, and the certification required, for example EN 959 for rock anchors. Power Honour can supply 715 as private-label hardware with custom stamping, or modify the design to a drawing.
