Product details
The CRM-12-S-WS is the step-in model of the plate-free steel range. It has 12 points, PU and steel components, and a binding made up of a wire toe bail and a heel lever. No anti-snow plate is fitted.
A step-in binding holds the boot more rigidly than straps or cradles, which helps precision when front-pointing on steep snow and ice. It requires fully crampon-compatible boots with welts at the toe and heel, so it is aimed at experienced mountaineers rather than casual winter walkers.
Retailers serving technical customers often stock step-in crampons alongside combi models; the CRM-12-C-WS covers boots with only a heel welt. A version with a removable anti-snow plate is available as the CRM-12-S. Power Honour can manufacture the CRM-12-S-WS under private label, with bail size, straps and packaging agreed at RFQ stage.
