CRM-10-W-WS Steel 10-Point Beginner Crampon without Anti-Snow Plate

The CRM-10-W-WS is the most basic configuration in the steel crampon range: 10 points, a PU and steel construction, the beginner binding and no anti-snow plate. The product photo shows toe and heel cradles joined by a strap, a binding that fits boots without welts.

Ten-point crampons are typically used for walking on snow and glaciers and for moderate winter routes, where front points are needed less than on steep ice. Steel stands up to rock and hard ice better than aluminium, which makes it a durable choice for mixed winter terrain. Without an anti-snow plate, snow can build up under the frame in wet conditions, so the model suits colder, drier snow or buyers who plan to add plates separately.
