Product details
The CRM-10-W takes the 10-point steel frame and beginner binding of the CRM-10-W-WS and adds an anti-snow plate that can be removed. Its toe and heel cradles with a strap, as pictured, fit most boots without needing welts, and the components are PU and steel.
Anti-snow plates stop wet snow from packing into a ball under the crampon, a common cause of slips in spring conditions or when temperatures hover around freezing. Being removable, the plate can be taken off for dry conditions or replaced when worn.
With 10 points, this model is a natural first crampon for hikers moving onto snow and for guided glacier walks. Buyers should state the size range, strap colour and packaging; Power Honour can supply the CRM-10-W as a private-label product or adapt the cradles and plate to a customer drawing.
