The A-CRM-12-W is the beginner version of the aluminium 12-point crampon range, made from aluminium and PU and weighing 496 g. It is an easy-to-fit crampon for winter walking, glacier travel and snow routes.

Product details
At 496 g, the A-CRM-12-W is the lightest crampon in this range. It shares the 12-point aluminium construction, anodised standard finish and removable anti-snow plate of the A-CRM-12-S and A-CRM-12-C, but uses the beginner binding: toe and heel cradles held on with a strap, as shown in the product photo.
A cradle-and-strap binding needs no welts, so it can be fitted to a wide range of boots, which suits newcomers, rental fleets and hikers moving onto snow. The boot still needs to be stiff enough for crampon use, a point brands usually explain in the user instructions.
When specifying, buyers should confirm the size range the frame must cover, strap length and colour, and packaging. Power Honour can manufacture the A-CRM-12-W for private-label programmes or adapt the cradles and straps to a customer drawing.
