Product details
On the CRM-10-C, a toe cradle and heel lever hold the boot onto a 10-point steel frame with PU components. The anti-snow plate fitted underneath can be removed.
The combi binding suits the large number of mountaineering boots with a heel welt but no toe welt, giving a firmer hold than a strap binding. Ten points are enough for glacier travel, snow slopes and moderate winter routes, and steel points tolerate rock and hard ice. The anti-snow plate keeps wet snow from balling under the frame.
Brands can offer the CRM-10-C next to the step-in CRM-10-S and beginner CRM-10-W to cover all three boot types in one 10-point range, or choose the plate-free CRM-10-C-WS.
