Product details
Aluminium construction keeps the A-CRM-12-S light at 582 g, and the frame carries an anodised standard finish. It has 12 points, PU components and an anti-snow plate that can be removed when conditions do not call for it.
The step-in binding uses a wire toe bail and a heel lever, which gives the most secure fit but requires mountaineering or ski-touring boots with welts at both toe and heel. Aluminium crampons are generally chosen where weight matters more than durability, such as ski mountaineering, glacier approaches and snow routes, rather than hard ice or mixed rock.
The range offers the same aluminium 12-point frame as a combi (A-CRM-12-C) and a beginner version (A-CRM-12-W), so a brand can match bindings to its boot customers. Power Honour can produce the A-CRM-12-S under private label and quote changes to strap, plate or finish to a customer drawing.
