Product details

The A2480SG combines a generous 24 mm gate opening with a weight of 70 g. It is made from aluminium alloy and carries breaking strengths of 22 kN on the major axis and 8 kN for both minor-axis and gate-open loading. The gate locks with a manual screw sleeve.

A wide opening helps wherever several items share one carabiner: a master point on a climbing anchor, a belay device with a doubled rope, or a fixed point with multiple slings. It also makes clipping easier with gloves on.

A twist-lock version, the A2480TL, is available with the same opening. Buyers should state the locking style, colour and marking required, and confirm compatibility with the devices they plan to sell alongside it.
