511 Steel Double Back Buckle, 3 mm

Made from 3 mm steel, the 511 is a double back buckle shown in the product photo as a rectangular frame with a single wide window. It is the steel alternative to the aluminium double back buckles in this category, such as the AR026 series.

Steel adds weight compared with aluminium but gives better resistance to wear and impact, which suits industrial harnesses, utility and construction positioning belts, and equipment that is handled roughly. In a double back closure, the webbing is threaded through and then back on itself so that load tightens the grip; the harness user instructions should show this clearly.

Breaking strength and dimensions are not listed for this model, so request a drawing, define the strength required by the harness standard, and verify it on finished samples. Specify finish (for example zinc plating or a black coating), webbing width and thickness, and marking in the RFQ. The 510 is a second steel double back buckle with a different outline. The 511 is available for OEM and private-label programmes, and Power Honour can adapt it to a customer drawing.
