510 Steel Double Back Buckle, 3 mm

The 510 is a steel double back buckle, 3 mm thick. Its product photo shows a frame with an angled upper edge around a large window, giving it a different outline from the rectangular 511 while keeping the same material and thickness.

A shaped outline can help a buckle sit flat against a curved waist belt or leg strap and guide the webbing as it is pulled tight. Steel double back buckles are used on work positioning belts, fall arrest harness leg and waist straps, and heavy-duty equipment straps, especially where abrasion or impact would quickly mark aluminium.
