502-R Stamped Steel Adjuster Buckle, 18 kN

The 502-R is stamped from 3 mm steel and rated at 18 kN breaking strength. The product photo shows a rectangular frame with a raised centre bar, the layout used by slide adjusters, where webbing wraps around the bar and is held by friction against the frame.

Adjusters of this type let a strap be lengthened or shortened and then hold under load, which is why they appear on harness shoulder and leg straps, positioning belts, lanyard adjustments and equipment straps. Stamping gives consistent parts in volume, and steel offers the wear resistance that matters where webbing slides repeatedly over the bar.
