The A908 rack is listed in aluminium with an anodised standard finish, a rope range of 8 mm to 13 mm and a weight of 372 g. The rope is woven through a series of bars on a U-shaped frame; engaging more bars increases friction and spreading them reduces it, so the user can adjust braking during the descent according to rope weight and diameter.
