A906 is the anti-panic version of the handle-operated descender. Its aluminium alloy body weighs 380 g, accepts ropes from 10 mm to 13 mm and is listed in red. An anti-panic function is intended to stop the descent if the user grips the handle too hard in a moment of stress, as well as when the handle is released, which is why this type is favoured for work at height and rescue.
