A301KTL is the quicklock counterpart of A301KTL-3. The aluminium alloy frame measures 147.1 x 82.3 mm and opens to 17 mm. Minimum tensile strength is listed at 35 kN, with minimum gate and side-load strengths of 3,600 lbs (16 kN). It is specified as meeting ANSI/ASSE Z359.12-2009 and CSA Z259.12-11.
As the photos show, the frame includes an eye at the base, used to fix a lanyard, rope or strap permanently to the connector and keep it captive away from the gate. That makes A301KTL a common choice as the terminating connector on positioning and restraint lanyards and on equipment tethers in industrial work. Aluminium construction keeps weight well below that of comparable steel connectors.
ANSI/ASSP Z359.12 has since been revised to the 2019 edition and CSA Z259.12 to the 2016 edition, so confirm which edition current production is certified to. In an RFQ, give the target market, anodised colour and marking. Power Honour can supply A301KTL as an OEM or private-label connector.
