SS935 316 Stainless Steel Eye Terminal for Wire Rope
The SS935 is an eye terminal in AISI 316 stainless steel for terminating wire rope, listed for five wire sizes from M3 (1/8 in.) to M8 (5/16 in.). It gives a wire an eye end for connection to turnbuckle jaws, shackles and padeyes in balustrade, shade-sail and marine rigging.

Product details
The SS935 eye terminal is made in AISI 316 stainless steel and is listed by wire size: M3 (1/8 in.), M4 (5/32 in.), M5 (3/16 in.), M6 (1/4 in.) and M8 (5/16 in.). For each wire size the drawing gives A (3.2 to 8.3 mm), B (43 to 76 mm), D (64 to 125 mm), F (6.5 to 14.5 mm) and G (13 to 29 mm).
An eye terminal on the end of a wire lets it pin into a jaw turnbuckle such as SS4820 or SS9301, or connect to a shackle or padeye, giving a neat, compact end on architectural balustrades, tensioned fences, shade sails and marine standing rigging. Grade 316 is the normal choice for exposed stainless wire systems. The attachment method and wire construction should be confirmed with the supplier, because terminal performance depends on both; no load rating is published for this terminal.
