A018 Aluminium Alloy Swivel with Bearing and Triangular Eyes

A018 joins two triangular eyes through a bearing. The triangular shape positions a connector centrally in each eye, which helps keep carabiners correctly aligned and loaded along their major axis. The body is aluminium alloy, the breaking strength is 30 kN and the photograph shows a two-tone anodised finish. The second image is a dimension drawing; the third reproduces the product warning.

Swivels are used below pulleys and haul systems, on stretcher bridles, on lanyards and between ropes and suspended loads, wherever rotation could otherwise twist ropes or spin the load.
