A003 Anodised Aluminium Multi-Hole Rigging Plate, 45 kN

The A003 rigging plate is made from aluminium with an anodised finish, weighs 442 g and has a listed breaking strength of 45 kN, the highest rating of the plates in this range, shared with A001. The photograph shows a large plate with a row of holes along each edge and larger central openings; the second image is a dimension drawing.

Rigging plates keep multi-rope systems tidy. Clipped to a single anchor, they give separate holes for main and back-up lines, pulleys, edge equipment and personal attachments, so connectors do not cross-load or pile up in one carabiner. That makes them common in rope rescue, theatre and event rigging, rope access and canyoning.

Buyers should confirm the hole sizes and spacing against their connectors, the anodised colour and any engraving, and the standard their market requires. As the plate is rated as a whole, the strength through individual holes should be confirmed where loads are applied off-axis.
