Half a metre longer than the SRL-2M, the SRL-2.5M carries 2.5 m (8.3 ft) of 19 mm webbing in the same compact housing, 131 x 94 x 47 mm (5.2 x 3.7 x 1.85 in), moulded in high-impact-resistant plastic. It comes with a swivel connector, which lets the line turn with the user, and a tagline for pulling the connector down after the webbing has retracted.
The extra length gives a little more movement around the anchor point for tasks such as plant maintenance, rack and mezzanine work, and access to equipment from fixed overhead anchors. As with any short retractable, the anchor should normally be positioned above the user so that the webbing deploys vertically.
The unit is referenced to EN 360:2002, which has been superseded by EN 360:2023; buyers should check that the certification matches their market requirements. Unit weight and strength values are not stated for this model, so request them with a quotation. Power Honour can produce the SRL-2.5M for OEM or private-label programmes.
