SRL-20 Self-Retracting Lifeline, 20 m Galvanised Wire Rope

At 20 m, the SRL-20 is the longest cable unit in this range. The line is 4 mm galvanised wire rope, the housing is a high-impact-resistant plastic, and the net weight is 6.6 kg. The listed minimum breaking strength is 12.5 kN, and the maximum dynamic force is listed as 10 kN. It is stated to meet EN 360.

Long lifelines like this are used where a single anchor must serve a wide working radius or a deep vertical drop, for example on structural steelwork, large roofs, tank interiors, ship and dock work and industrial maintenance. Galvanised wire rope resists abrasion better than webbing in rough conditions. Buyers should check the published dynamic force against the arrest force limit of the EN 360 edition they are certifying to, and confirm swing-fall and clearance guidance for the full 20 m length.
