SS629 Stainless Steel 304 Rope Grab, 16 mm Rope

SS629 is produced in 304 stainless steel for rope of 16 mm diameter. Because the material itself resists corrosion, there is no zinc or chrome plating to wear away, which keeps the device's surface condition stable through outdoor exposure and frequent washing.

Rope grabs are the link between a worker and a vertical rope lifeline: the user connects to the grab, and the grab locks on the rope if a fall occurs. A stainless version is specified where a plated steel device would rust, for example on outdoor towers, bridges, water facilities, food and beverage plants and other wash-down areas.
