608-12 Zinc-Plated Steel Rope Grab with Eye, 12 mm Rope

608-12 is a steel rope grab with a zinc-plated finish and an integral eye. It is sized for Ø12 mm rope, intended for synthetic ropes, and weighs 625 g, making it one of the heavier, more robust devices in this range.

A heavy steel rope grab suits sites where equipment is handled roughly and left on the lifeline for long periods, such as construction projects, scaffolds, roofing and industrial plants. The eye accepts a carabiner or snap hook on the end of the user's lanyard or energy absorber, and the grab clamps the rope to arrest a fall.

Match the lifeline exactly: a rope grab designed for 12 mm rope should not be used on thinner or thicker rope, and the rope construction matters as well as diameter.
