SS626 Stainless Steel 304 Rope Grab, 16 mm Rope

The SS626 rope grab is made from 304 stainless steel and is designed for rope of 16 mm diameter. Grade 304 is the most widely used austenitic stainless steel, with good general corrosion resistance and no need for a plated coating.

On a vertical lifeline, the rope grab connects the user's lanyard or energy absorber to the rope and locks to arrest a fall. A 304 stainless device suits outdoor structures, water and wastewater facilities, food plants and general wet environments. For direct seawater or chloride-heavy service, buyers often consider grade 316, so discuss the environment with the factory.
