Product details

AP-090-B pairs a ball-bearing sheave with aluminium alloy side plates in an anodised colour finish. It is rated at 40 kN breaking strength, takes ropes up to 13 mm and weighs 266 g. The photographs show a top attachment eye and a second, smaller attachment hole at the base, shown in gold and black versions; the sixth image is a dimension drawing.

A 40 kN rating gives a wide margin at the points of a rope system that see the highest loads, such as the main redirect or the anchor pulley of a haul system, where the attachment can carry close to twice the line tension. The ball bearing keeps friction low, which helps efficiency in mechanical-advantage systems. A lower attachment hole of this kind is commonly used to connect a rope grab or to build compound systems.

Buyers should specify anodised colour, rope types and diameters, marking and the certification route, such as EN 12278 for mountaineering pulleys. Power Honour can supply AP-090-B as private-label equipment or adapt it to a customer drawing.
