PA-670 Aluminium Alloy Quick Hook, 5 g

PA-670 is made of aluminium alloy and weighs only 5 g. The photograph shows a pair of identical flat hooks in purple anodised finish, each with two holes and a slot that opens into one of them; the dimension drawing in the second image shows the hook outline with two cord holes.

Cords are tied or spliced through the holes, and the slot lets two hooks be slipped into each other to make a connection that holds under tension but can be separated by hand. This is the arrangement used on paraglider speed systems to join the speed bar to the accelerator lines on the risers, and it is also useful for other light accessory connections on harnesses and parachute equipment.

PA-670 is a lightweight accessory part without a published strength rating, so it should not be used as a life-safety connector. Buyers should confirm the cord diameters to be used, anodised colours and quantities.
