613SS-3 Stainless Steel Flat Webbing Slide, 3 mm, 15 kN

The 613SS-3 is a flat plate in stainless steel, 3 mm thick, weighing 20 g and rated at 15 kN breaking strength. The photograph and the dimension drawing in the second image show two parallel slots in a rectangular plate, forming a flat three-bar slide through which webbing is threaded.

A flat slide lies close against the body and the strap, which is why this form is used on parachute and paraglider harness straps, containers and webbing assemblies where bulk and snag points must be kept low. Unlike the wire-formed PA-006 and PA-007, 613SS-3 has a published strength, which makes it easier to evaluate for a load-bearing position. Stainless steel resists corrosion in outdoor and humid use.

Buyers should confirm the slot length and width against their webbing, specify finish, edge treatment and quantity, and check the 15 kN figure against the loads in their harness or assembly specification.
