PA-007 Stainless Steel Rectangular Ring with Knurled Bar

The PA-007 is a 30 g stainless steel ring, and the photograph shows a rectangular frame with a knurled section along one long side. Knurling gives the webbing more grip where it wraps around the bar, so that a strap passed through the ring and back on itself is less prone to creep under load.

Rings of this type are used as adjusters and keepers on parachute and paraglider harness straps, container closures and webbing assemblies, and in other strap systems where a stainless, non-corroding fitting is wanted. Stainless steel resists corrosion from sweat, humidity and outdoor exposure better than plated steel.

Buyers should request the inner width to match their webbing, the bar diameter and any strength data before specifying PA-007 for a load-bearing position. In an RFQ, define webbing width and thickness, required finish, quantity and the performance requirements of the finished assembly.
