PA-006 Stainless Steel Webbing Slide with Knurled Centre Bar

PA-006 is made of stainless steel and weighs 40 g. The photograph shows a rounded rectangular frame with a knurled bar across the centre, the layout of a three-bar slide: webbing threads around the centre bar, and the knurling increases friction so the strap holds its adjusted length.

Three-bar slides are among the most common adjusters on parachute and paraglider harnesses, and are also used on rescue harnesses, load straps and military webbing. Stainless steel suits equipment exposed to sweat, damp and outdoor storage, where plated parts can corrode. Compared with the PA-007 ring, which has a single knurled side, PA-006 is designed so the strap can be adjusted and locked mid-length.

Only material and weight are published for PA-006, so buyers should request the slot width, bar diameter and any strength data before using it in a load-bearing strap. An RFQ should define the webbing width and thickness, finish, quantity and the test requirements of the finished harness or assembly.
