Product details

B711K is formed from 12 mm aluminium alloy bar, the thickest bar listed for the aluminium carabiners in this range, into a 114 x 75 mm frame. It weighs 70 g, opens to 26 mm and is listed at 25 kN major axis, 8 kN minor axis and 8 kN gate open. The product photo shows a pear-style frame with a threaded locking sleeve.

A thick bar spreads rope load over a larger radius, which is gentler on the rope and on the carabiner where it runs, and the pear shape leaves space for a rope to move around the wide end. Together with the wide opening, that suits belay stations, anchor master points, rescue systems and rope-work set-ups.

B711K is the lightest of the B71 family; B712K and B713K share the frame and rating and are pictured with different locking sleeves. When requesting a quotation, confirm the locking type on the drawing, and state the certification your market requires, colours and marking. B711K can be produced under your brand, and Power Honour can quote a modified frame or gate from a supplied drawing.
