A740KSG adds a screw sleeve to the 94.5 x 57.8 mm A740 aluminium alloy frame and still weighs only 40 g. The gate opens to 18 mm and the listed strengths are 24 kN major axis, 8 kN minor axis and 9 kN gate open.

Very light lockers are valued on alpine and ski-mountaineering racks, in emergency kits and anywhere a few grams matter.
