MS-05 Steel Double Slot Buckle, 4 kN

MS-05 is a 2 mm steel double slot buckle with a listed breaking strength of 4 kN, the lowest rating in the MS series. The product photo shows a flat plate with two slots and a raised tab on one edge.

That rating makes the MS-05 a fit for positions where the buckle adjusts or tidies webbing but does not carry the user's weight: chest strap adjusters that are not part of the fall arrest load path, comfort straps, tool and accessory straps, bags and equipment harnesses. Where a buckle must carry fall arrest or positioning loads, a higher-rated part such as the MS-03, MS-01 or MS-02 in this series is the starting point.

Request a drawing for dimensions and specify finish, webbing width and thickness, and marking in the RFQ. The product designer should confirm that the 4 kN figure suits the buckle's function in the finished item and its standard.
