Product details
Body and buckle on the A836R are both aluminium alloy, anodised as standard, and the set weighs 81 g. It is sized for 45 mm webbing, and because it is adjustable as well as quick release, it can replace a separate connector and adjuster on a strap.
That combination is useful on harness waist belts and leg loops, work positioning belts and other wide straps that are put on and taken off frequently and need fitting to the user. The A836R has no published minimum breaking strength; a harness maker should define the strength its product needs and verify it on test samples before using the buckle in fall protection or rope access equipment.
Buyers can specify the anodising colour, the webbing thickness to be used and any laser or stamped marking. The A836R is available for OEM and private-label supply, and Power Honour can modify it to a customer drawing.
