A830 Aluminium Side Release Buckle

A830 is the plain aluminium option among the side release buckles: the whole buckle is aluminium alloy, specified at 3 mm thickness. A metal side release buckle replaces the moulded plastic version found on everyday straps when a product needs a more durable closure or a metal look.

Applications include duty and utility belts, equipment straps and harness straps where a quick side-squeeze release is useful. The A830 carries no published breaking strength; for any safety-related use the buyer should define the load requirement and verify it on test samples. Users who need a steel engaging part can look at the A832, which keeps an aluminium body with a steel buckle.
