A825-25 Aluminium and Steel Quick Release Buckle

This is the 25 mm member of the A825 pair. As on the 19 mm A825-19, the receiving female buckle is anodised aluminium and the male buckle is steel with a black CED (cathodic electrodeposition) coating, a two-tone look that also separates the lighter alloy housing from the steel engaging part.

A 25 mm strap is a common width for belts, sling straps and equipment carriers, and the A825-25 is aimed at that kind of webbing product. No minimum breaking strength is published for the A825-25, so the buckle should be treated as a closure, not as a rated safety component, unless the buyer specifies a load requirement and has it confirmed by test.

Specify the webbing to be used, the anodising colour and any branding when asking for a quotation, and say whether the black CED finish should be kept or changed. The A825-25 is available for OEM and private-label programmes, and dimensions can be modified to a drawing.
