A3190 Forged Aluminium Buckle

Forging is the defining feature of the A3190: both the body and the buckle are forged from aluminium alloy rather than cut or stamped from plate. Forging lets the material follow the shape of the part, and for a component that is opened and closed repeatedly it gives a dense, consistent section. The assembled weight is 100 g.

Aluminium release buckles of this kind are fitted where weight matters, such as harness leg and chest straps or equipment straps that are put on and taken off often. The A3190 has no published breaking strength; any use in fall protection or rope access needs a defined strength requirement and test evidence first. Buyers who prefer steel can compare it with the 3190, listed in steel at 107 g; the dimension drawings of the two show the same outline, but interchangeability should be confirmed with samples.

Include webbing width, required strength, anodising colour and marking in the RFQ. The A3190 can be supplied OEM or private label, and modifications to a drawing are possible.
