Rated at a 2.2 ton working load limit and weighing 1.7 kg, the 5801A is the Grade 80 clevis version of the belt hooks in this catalogue. Its minimum breaking load is four times the WLL.
The clevis end allows the hook to be pinned to a chain link or fitting, while the hook itself is intended to work with a textile belt or webbing rather than a chain or wire rope. This suits assemblies that combine chain with web slings or lifting belts, used in construction, logistics, warehousing and general material handling. The 5801A is lifting hardware and is not designed for personal fall protection.
