The 2900A (Art. No. 2900A) is a Grade 80 special connecting link for heavy chain sling assemblies. It is listed in two sizes, 19 mm with a 12.50 ton working load limit and 22 mm with 15.25 ton, each with a minimum breaking load of four times the WLL.

Only two sizes make up the 2900A range, both aimed at the heavier end of Grade 80 rigging. The 19 mm link carries a working load limit of 12.50 ton at a net weight of 2.80 kg; the 22 mm version is rated at 15.25 ton and weighs 4.30 kg. Both follow the 4:1 relationship between minimum breaking load and WLL used across this Grade 80 line.
Connecting links of this type join chain to master links, hooks and other end fittings when building or repairing chain slings and lifting assemblies for construction, steel handling, shipyards and general industrial lifting. They are lifting components and are not intended for personal fall protection.
Buyers should confirm the chain diameter and grade the link will be paired with, since a sling is rated by its weakest component, and state any marking, proof-test documentation or surface finish they need. The 2900A can be supplied as OEM or private-label hardware or adapted to a customer drawing.
