A4073 Aluminium Alloy O-Ring, 20 kN

The A4073 is a closed aluminium alloy ring rated at 20 kN breaking strength. Three inner sizes are listed, 28 mm, 45 mm and 60 mm, so the same design can be matched to narrow cord, standard webbing or a wider strap or multiple connectors.

Unlike a D-ring, an O-ring has no straight bar, so it can be loaded from any direction around its circumference. That makes it useful as a central ring on harness bridges and chest straps, as a collecting point for several slings or lanyards, and on rescue, rope access and arborist equipment where loads shift during use. Aluminium keeps it light compared with the forged steel 407 O-ring in this category.
