Product details

The 407 is a closed round ring forged from alloy steel and heat treated. Every ring is proof loaded to 3600 lbs (16 kN), and the minimum breaking load is 5000 lbs (22.2 kN).

Because an O-ring has no straight side, it accepts connectors and straps around its full circumference. That suits applications where load direction varies, such as harness chest or bridge connections, collecting points where two lanyard legs meet, rescue and evacuation equipment, and rigging of webbing slings. Forging and heat treatment give a tough, consistent ring, and per-piece proof loading screens each part before it is sewn into an assembly.

Inner diameter, section size and finish are not listed for the 407, so request a drawing and state the webbing width, plating and marking needed in the RFQ. Buyers looking for a lighter round ring can compare the aluminium A4073. Power Honour can produce the 407 under a customer's own brand and can rework the design from a drawing where needed.
