405 Drop Forged Alloy Steel Double Slot Delta Ring, 2 in

The 405 is a double slot delta ring, drop forged from alloy steel and zinc plated. It is listed in a 2 in size and rated at a minimum breaking load of 4000 kg (8800 lbs). The second slot means two webbing straps can be anchored to the same ring, each in its own slot, alongside the connection opening.

Rings of this kind are used at harness front and side connection points, on rescue and evacuation equipment, and as junction rings in strap assemblies where two webbing pieces must meet at one connection point, for example where a shoulder strap and a chest strap join. The forged alloy steel section provides high strength, and zinc plating gives general corrosion protection.
