401 Steel D-Ring, 22 kN

The 401 is a straightforward steel D-ring rated at 22 kN breaking strength. A 22 kN rating is widely used as a reference level for harness connecting hardware, which makes the 401 a practical choice for manufacturers building mainstream fall protection and work positioning products.

Typical positions include the dorsal and side attachment points of full body harnesses, the side rings of positioning belts and the end fittings of webbing straps and lanyards. Steel brings toughness and wear resistance, which matter on equipment that is dragged across concrete and steelwork every day. For lighter designs at a similar rating, the aluminium AD243 and AD242 in this category are rated at 22 kN as well.

Section size, dimensions and finish are not listed for this model, so request a drawing and define the webbing width, plating or coating, and marking in the RFQ.
